Twins to reinstate Willingham from disabled list and recall Arcia from Triple-A

Colabello and Herrmann Optioned to Triple-A Rochester

Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN -- The Minnesota Twins announced after today's game that they will return outfielder Josh Willingham from his rehab assignment at Triple-A Rochester and reinstate him from the disabled list tomorrow. Willingham, who missed 41 games with a fractured left wrist, made eight rehab appearances for the Red Wings going 5-for-27.

In addition, the Twins plan to recall outfielder Oswaldo Arcia from Rochester tomorrow. Arcia, who was on the Twins Opening Day roster, has appeared in 22 games with the Red Wings hitting .312 (24-for-77) with five home runs, seven doubles and 18 RBI.

To make room on the 25-man roster, the Twins optioned first baseman/outfielder Chris Colabello and catcher/outfielder Chris Herrmann to Rochester following today's game.
