Twins reinstate Luis Arraez from injured list

Club options Nick Gordon to Triple-A St. Paul

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have reinstated infielder/outfielder Luis Arraez from the 7-day Injured List.

Arraez, who has missed the Twins’ last five games with concussion-like symptoms after a collision at home plate on May 3, is hitting .291 (25-for-86) with two doubles, one triple, one home run, 11 RBI, 14 walks and a .398 on-base percentage in 25 games.

To make room on the 26-man roster, the Twins have optioned infielder Nick Gordon to Triple-A St. Paul. Gordon, who was recalled by the Twins on May 4, appeared in one game, making his major league debut on May 6, going 1-for-2 with a walk and two stolen bases.
