Alex Kirilloff placed on 10-day Injured List

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have reinstated infielder Miguel Sanó from the 10-day Injured List and placed outfielder/first baseman Alex Kirilloff on the 10-day Injured List (retro to May 4) with a right wrist sprain.

Sanó, who missed the Twins last 12 games with a right hamstring strain, is hitting .111 (5-for-45) with two home runs, two RBI, 13 walks and a .310 on-base percentage in 15 games this season.

Kirilloff is hitting .214 (9-for-42) with three doubles, four home runs, 11 RBI, eight runs scored and a .799 OPS in 12 games. He hit safely in each of his last seven games, hitting .321 (9-for-28) with a 1.190 OPS in that span.
