Twins to release exclusive book celebrating Joe Mauer, benefitting the Twins Community Fund

PAUL, MN – Fans throughout Minnesota watched as Joe Mauer grew from a multi-sport prep star in St. Paul to one of the greatest Twins of all-time, one who will have his Number 7 retired by the club this coming Saturday. Now, fans can relieve this remarkable hometown journey, as the Minnesota Twins today announced plans for “A Twin for the Ages,” the official illustrated chronicle of Joe Mauer’s historic career. The book is available for pre-order at twinsbaseball.com/mauerbook and will be shipped in August 2019, with all net proceeds directly benefitting the Minnesota Twins Community Fund.

Published by Skybox Press, this exclusive 72-page book features hundreds of pictures from Minnesota Twins and Star Tribune photographers – including some iconic Mauer images and a selection of first-run, behind-the-scenes photos. “A Twin for the Ages” also contains reflections from teammates, coaches and other sports figures, such as Justin Morneau, Rod Carew, Ron Gardenhire, Mark Rosen and more.
