Post-Race Party

Join us for a post-race party inside Guaranteed Rate Field.

After crossing the finish line, head up to the outfield concourse to enjoy a celebratory beer (21+) on us, visit with our vendors, and enjoy the ballpark view. Additional food and beverage will be available for purchase.

FAQ

Where does the race take place?

Run Your Sox Off will be held completely inside both Guaranteed Rate Field and its parking lots. The Start Line will be located in Lot B and the Finish Line will be located on the outfield warning track inside the ballpark. The post-race party will follow immediately in the outfield concourse.

How do I pick up my shirt and bib?

Packet pick up will take place on Friday, August 5 11am – 6pm at Fleet Feet Oak Park (102 N. Marion St., Oak Park) and on Saturday, August 6 10am – 6pm at Fleet Feet South Loop (150 W. Roosevelt Rd., Chicago). Racers will receive packet pick up instructions via e-mail.

How do I fundraise?

Runners will receive information on how to set up their fundraising pages via email after registration. Runners are not required to set up a fundraising page to participate in Run Your Sox Off. Click here for any additional fundraising questions.

Is parking provided?

Yes - parking will be free for all racers and spectators. Runners will receive parking directions after registration and closer to race day.

Can I bring a bag?

There will be gear check on-site. However, we encourage racers to only bring the essentials including phone, wallet, identification, keys, etc.

Can I bring a pet?

Pets will not be allowed to join the race or enter the ballpark.

Can I bring a stroller?

For the safety of our racers, strollers are not permitted in the race.

I have an infant. Do they need to register?

Children under 36” do not need to register for the race. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian with a valid race registration. Children who are not registered will not receive a race packet, t-shirt, or medal. We ask that all children under 36” only participate in the 1 Mile Walk.

Can my friends or family come to cheer me on?

Friends and family who are not participating in the race are welcome to come cheer on their racers. They are also welcome to stay and enjoy the post-race party. Runners will receive more information for their guests after registration and closer to race day.

When does the post-race party end?

The Post-Race Party will end at 12:00 p.m.

What will my credit card statement say after I purchase?

All Run Your Sox Off participations will appear on your credit card statement as a charge from EnMotive, the production company of this race.

If I upgrade my race, how do I receive my hat and tickets?

All runners who choose to upgrade their registration will receive a one-time use code via e-mail to redeem their tickets online. Your code and additional instructions will be sent to the e-mail address you provided by August 1 (runners who purchase an upgrade after August 1 will receive their ticket information with 7-10 days). Hats will be included in your race packets. Valid only for 2022 White Sox home games 8/16, 8/27, 8/30, 9/1, 9/2, 9/14, 9/20, 9/22, 9/23.

Do I need to be vaccinated to participate in the race?

Runners do not have to show proof of vaccination to participate in the race.

Virtual Race FAQ

Does the event take place on a specific date?

Run Your Sox Off takes place on August 7, 2022. You can complete your race anytime, anywhere before race day.

Can I participate if I don't live/will not be in Chicago during race days?

Yes! Anyone, anywhere can participate in the virtual run/walk. Participants can customize the course to best fit their local area. (Limited to continental USA)

Is there an age requirement to participate in the Virtual Run/Walk?

There is no minimum age requirement to participate in the virtual run/walk.

How do I fundraise?

How do I submit my results and photos?

Virtual runners will receive additional communication as soon as this feature is available.

Will I receive the virtual run swag if I can't complete the race?

Yes - all registrants will receive the virtual run swag regardless of run completion. You do not need to report your race time in order to receive your swag. You will receive tracking information as soon as your packet has been shipped.
