NBC Sports Chicago, cable rights holder for the Chicago White Sox, will broadcast seven Class A Winston-Salem Dash games during the 2018 season, marking the second White Sox minor-league affiliate to have its games broadcast on the network (Class AAA Charlotte in 2017-18).

NBC Sports Chicago will televise its first Dash games on Thursday, May 24 with the finale of a four-game series vs. Buies Creek at BB&T Ballpark (6:00 p.m. CT). The game will air live on NBC Sports Chicago.

Every Winston-Salem telecast on NBC Sports Chicago also will be streamed on NBCSportsChicago.com/WatchLive and will be made available via the NBC Sports app on tablets and smart phones.

All telecasts will feature Dash play-by-play announcer Joe Weil, who is in his first season as the team's lead broadcaster. An alumnus of Boston University, Weil also works as a studio host for the University of Notre Dame's football broadcasts through IMG College, which is located in Winston-Salem.

In addition, Jake Eisenberg and Craig Deas will split duties joining Weil in the Dash broadcast booth. Eisenberg, a graduate of the University of Maryland, spent last season with the Class A Brooklyn Cyclones, a New York Mets affiliate, where he served as the team's radio voice. Deas, who has been with the Dash for last two seasons, called Class A Lake County Captains contests for over a decade.
The Dash, who are managed by former White Sox shortstop Omar Vizquel, feature six of Chicago's Top 30 prospects, according to MLBPipeline.com, including Luis Robert (No. 3), Dylan Cease (No. 5), Blake Rutherford (No. 7), Micker Adolfo (No. 10), Gavin Sheets (No. 11) and Luis Alexander Basabe (No. 13).

Winston-Salem, a White Sox affiliate since 1997, leads the Carolina League in doubles (90), ranks second in batting average (.276), hits (366), runs scored (207), on-base percentage (.359) and slugging percentage (.436) and third in home runs (31). Dash pitchers rank second in ERA (3.36) and third in strikeouts (346).
