Rangers No. 2 prospect Luis Sardinas went 4-for-6 with a double and four RBIs out of the leadoff spot for La Guaira, who topped Caribes, 10-4, a night after blowing an 11-1 lead against them. Both teams moved to 1-1 on the season. Box score

Caracas 9, Margarita 7
Danny Dorn, who hit 25 home runs for the Tigers' Triple-A Toledo team in 2013, went 3-for-4 with his second homer in as many games to lead Caracas to a 2-0 start with a with a second consecutive win over Margarita. Indians No. 17 prospect Jesus Aguilar went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs and scored three times for the second straight game. He went 3-for-4 in the season opener on Thursday. Box score

Magallanes 6, Lara 4
Former longtime Royals Minor Leaguer Mario Lisson went 3-for-5 with a pair of home runs and four RBIs to lead Magallanes to a 6-4 win over Lara. Former big leaguer Lew Ford also added three hits and a pair of RBIs in five at-bats as Magallanes scored five runs in the final two frames. Box score

Aragua 4, Zulia 3
Aragua rallied late for the second straight night, beating Zulia, 4-3, with three runs in the seventh and one in the eighth. Cubs reliever Eduardo Sanchez picked up the win with a scoreless 1 1/3 innings. Box score

Mexicali 4, Obregon 1
Former Phillies and Orioles Minor Leaguer Chris Roberson, who hit .362 in the Mexican League in 2013, started off his Mexican Pacific League season by going 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBIs and a stolen base to lead Mexicali over Obregon. Red Sox farmhand Terry Doyle yielded just three hits in six shutout innings for the win. Box score
