The White Sox have announced an exclusive Dewayne Wise "The Catch" bobblehead as the weekend package premium item for SoxFest 2019 - sponsored by Beggars Pizza, Guaranteed Rate, NBC Sports Chicago and WGN-TV. SoxFest 2019 will be held at the Hilton Chicago on Friday, January 25, through Sunday, January 27, 2019.
The SoxFest 2019 bobblehead pays tribute the 10-year anniversary of outfielder Dewayne Wise's home run-robbing catch to protect Mark Buehrle's perfect game on July 23, 2009. The bobblehead depicts Wise hitting the outfield wall after grabbing a home run from Tampa Bay outfielder Gabe Kapler for the first out in the ninth inning.
The only way to receive the exclusive SoxFest 2019 Dewayne Wise "The Catch" bobblehead is by securing a two-night SoxFest hotel package at whitesox.com/SoxFest. SoxFest hotel packages at the Hilton Chicago are $294 for a two-night stay (price does not include applicable taxes, fees and costs for weekend passes). Fans who book hotel packages are eligible to also purchase up to four SoxFest weekend passes. Weekend passes will be available for $40 for each adult and for $10 for each kid (ages 4 to 13). Kid passes will include access to children-only events throughout the weekend, including children's autograph sessions, kids-only question-and-answer seminars, special events in the interactive play zones and much more. Fans will have the opportunity to have the bobblehead signed by Wise during SoxFest, as he is scheduled to attend the event.
