Following Wednesday's game at Minnesota, the Chicago White Sox optioned left-handed pitcher Aaron Bummer to Class AAA Charlotte.
Bummer, 24, is 0-1 with a 3.26 ERA (7 ER/19.1 IP), one hold, 21 strikeouts and six walks over 26 relief appearances this season, his second with the White Sox.
Chicago will make a corresponding roster move prior to Thursday afternoon's series finale at Target Field.
