White Sox select Yount's nephew in 37th round

Forty years after the Milwaukee Brewers made Hall of Famer Robin Yount the third overall selection in the Draft, the White Sox selected his nephew, Cody, with the 1,113th overall pick in the 37th round.

Cody Yount transferred to VCU this season after spending three years at Pepperdine. He hit .242 with 11 runs scored and 14 RBIs in his time at Pepperdine. He played in five games this season for the Rams, hitting .286 in seven at-bats.

His father, Larry Yount, played one game with the Astros in 1971. His brother Austin and cousin Dustin have also played at the professional level.
