Sanchez wins arbitration case with White Sox

A salary-arbitration panel sided with infielder in his case against the White Sox, and Sanchez will earn $2.35 million in 2018, it was announced on Wednesday.
The salary is a sizable increase for Sanchez, who made $546,000 in 2017.

Sanchez set career bests last season with a .267 average, 12 home runs and 59 RBIs. A versatile player, Sanchez started 78 games at second base, 52 at third, four at shortstop and one in right field.
