The Washington Nationals are World Series champions for the first time in club history.

With a 6-2 win in Game 7, the Nationals -- who opened the season 19-31 and entered the postseason as the top National League Wild Card -- stunned the 107-win Astros, becoming the first team to win four World Series road games.
