Aug. 31: Swats fourth homer to extend hit streak to 10
Jasson Dominguez provided a bright spot in Low-A Tampa's otherwise forgettable 19-7 loss, blasting his fourth homer of the year. The solo shot gave him his 14th RBI with the Tarpons and extended his hit streak to double digits. Dominguez also kept himself out of the strikeout column during his 1-for-5 performance, a feat he hasn't achieved since Aug. 13. Gameday »

Aug. 29: Double propels his hitting streak along
Yankees' top outfield prospect Jasson Dominguez extended his hit streak to nine games with a 1-for-4 outing Sunday afternoon. Dominguez's double was Tampa's lone extra-base hit. "The Martian" is batting .324 (11-for-34) with a .881 OPS during his strong recent stretch. Gameday »

Aug. 27: Single extends streak to six
Jasson Dominguez extended his hitting streak to six games on Friday, going 1-for-4 in Low-A Tampa's loss to Clearwater. He was one of four Tarpons to record a hit in the game. Dominguez also came around to score on Cooper Bowman's three-run homer in the eighth. Aug. 26: Showing off those wheels
MLB Pipeline's No. 17 overall prospect Jasson Dominguez showed off his speed Thursday evening, stealing two bases for the first time in his professional career in addition to a 1-for-3 day at the dish which featured two walks and a run scored. The 18-year-old outfielder was not without fault, however, as he was caught stealing to end the seventh inning. He is now 4-for-7 on stolen base attempts across 36 games this year. Gameday »

Aug. 25: Swats two-run homer in first leg of doubleheader
Jasson Dominguez found his power stroke on Wednesday, blasting his third home run of the season in Low-A Tampa's loss to Clearwater. The two-run shot came in the first leg of Tampa's doubleheader with the Threshers, where Dominguez went 2-for-3 with a single and a walk. He did not play in the second leg of the twin bill. Dominguez is starting to turn it around after a slow start with the Tarpons, as he now owns a .720 OPS in 28 games. Gameday »

Aug. 21: Scores twice in Tampa's offensive outburst
After a scheduled day off on Friday, Jasson Dominguez was right in the thick of it during Low-A Tampa's 15-run outburst against St. Lucie on Saturday, coming around to score twice. Dominguez started the day 0-for-3 before a base knock and a hit-by-pitch turned a forgettable performance into a solid one. Gameday »

Aug. 19: Drives in one in two-hit night
Jasson Dominguez started to turn a corner on Thursday, as MLB Pipeline's No. 17 overall prospect drove in a run and scored in a two-hit performance for Low-A Tampa. The 2-for-5 day marked his third multihit game in the month of August. He now has a hit in back-to-back games and elevated his average in Low-A to .245. MLB Pipeline's new No. 17 overall prospect Jasson Dominguez found his way back into the hit column Wednesday night, working a 1-for-3 day at the dish which featured a single and a walk. After a hot start in Low-A, Jasson Dominguez has cooled off significantly over the past few games, going hitless in five of the past seven. Dominguez went 0-for-3 with a walk for Tampa on Tuesday. Aug. 15: Starts ninth-inning rally
Jasson Dominguez went 1-for-5 with a couple of strikeouts on Sunday for Low-A Tampa. But that one hit -- an infield single -- opened Tampa's half of the ninth and spurred a three-run rally that helped the Tarpons push the game into extra innings and prevail in the 10th. It also snapped an 0-for-11 skid for Dominguez. However, the Yankees' top prospect is hitting just .194 with a .522 OPS through nine games this month. Gameday »

Jasson Dominguez struck out three times in four at-bats for Low-A Tampa on Saturday. It was Dominguez's second game this week with three strikeouts. MLB's No. 21 prospect owns a 37.2 strikeout rate and a .686 OPS through 86 at-bats with the Tarpons this season. Gameday »

It was a tale of two games for Jasson Dominguez, as the Yankees' top prospect recorded three hits in the first game of Low-A Tampa's doubleheader before being blanked in the second leg. Dominguez went 3-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Game 1. In Game 2, Dominguez went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts. A cancelled game and two off-days might have had Jasson Dominguez a little rusty on Tuesday, as the Yankees' top prospect went 0-for-4 with a trio of strikeouts against Clearwater. Jasson Dominguez showed off the power stroke on Thursday, as the Yankees' No. 1 prospect slammed a two-run homer and a double for Low-A Tampa. The home run broke the game open for the Tarpons, as they took down Jupiter 8-1. It was Dominguez's second homer of his young career and his third double. Jasson Dominguez struck out in his first two at-bats during Game 1 of Wednesday's doubleheader for Low-A Tampa. A sixth-inning single gave him something to build on, but Dominguez has now struck out 17 times in his previous 37 at-bats.
