NEW YORK -- Catcher and first baseman continue to hold leads at their respective positions in the updated voting for next month's All-Star Game, while second baseman and shortstop are among the hopefuls within striking distance of punching a ticket to Cleveland.

In the midst of an incredible bounce-back campaign, Sanchez (1,357,540) holds a commanding lead over second-place catcher James McCann of the White Sox (580,394). Voit (696,196), meanwhile, is maintaining his edge over the Twins' C.J. Cron (586,303).

"I'm trying to keep things simple. Look for something in the zone and try to swing hard at it," Sanchez said recently. "No. 1 is my health. I'm healthy. At the plate, I've been working hard on not swinging at bad pitches."

LeMahieu has received 739,074 votes, trailing Tommy La Stella of the Angels (1,020,912) and Jose Altuve of the Astros (923,117). Third baseman Gio Urshela has 502,614 votes, good for second place behind Alex Bregman of the Astros (1,322,935).

Torres has 565,728 votes, trailing Jorge Polanco of the Twins (818,082) and Carlos Correa of the Astros (656,995). In the outfield, Aaron Judge's 577,640 votes are good for seventh, Brett Gardner's 259,179 votes rank 12th and Aaron Hicks' 221,578 votes are 16th. Giancarlo Stanton's 295,326 votes rank sixth among designated hitters.

Fans may vote in "The Primary" at MLB.com and all 30 club sites, the MLB At Bat and MLB Ballpark apps up to five times in any 24-hour period. Fans in the U.S. and Canada can also vote on Google Search for every position, or up to 17 unique players per day, by searching "MLB Vote" or the names of their favorite players.
