Shortstop Didi Gregorius and the Yankees have come to terms on a $2.425 million deal and thus avoided arbitration.
The Yankees, needing a replacement for the retired Derek Jeter, acquired Gregorius from the D-backs in a three-team trade prior to the 2015 season.
