Yankees roster moves: 9/6/22 and 9/7/22

On Tuesday, the Yankees made the following roster moves:
- Placed INF Anthony Rizzo on the 10-day injured list (retroactive to 9/3) with headaches following an epidural injection to treat lower back pain.
- Designated RHP Luke Bard for assignment.
- Signed INF Ronald Guzmán (#29) to a Major League contract and selected him to the active roster from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
Prior to Game 1 of today’s doubleheader, the Yankees made the following roster moves:
- Placed INF Josh Donaldson on the paternity list.
- Recalled RHP Deivi García (#83) from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
- Appointed INF/OF Miguel Andújar (#41) as the “29th Man.”
Additionally, the Yankees transferred the rehab assignment of LHP Zack Britton from Single-A Tampa to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and transferred the rehab assignment of RHP Luis Severino from Single-A Tampa to Double-A Somerset.
