Soler (right shoulder strain) was activated from the 10-day injured list before Friday's game against the Rockies.

Snell (left adductor strain) is scheduled to make his final rehab appearance with Triple-A Sacramento on Friday before potentially returning to the Giants' rotation during next week's road trip. More >

Max Muncy, Jason Heyward, Emmet Sheehan and Evan Phillips, Dodgers

Muncy was placed on the 10-day injured list Friday with a right oblique strain. More >

The Dodgers activated Heyward (lower back tightness) from the IL before Friday's game.

Sheehan underwent season-ending right elbow surgery on Wednesday. The right-hander experienced elbow inflammation in his first bullpen session in Spring Training, never made it into Cactus League action and began the season on the injured list.

Phillips (right hamstring strain) took his biggest step in his recovery so far when he threw off a mound on Wednesday. The session went as expected, and he could have another throwing session off a mound on Saturday. More >

Ke'Bryan Hayes, Pirates

Hayes (low back inflammation) is expected to resume baseball activities on Monday. More >

Nico Hoerner and Dansby Swanson, Cubs

Hoerner (left hamstring) was held out of the lineup for the fourth straight game on Friday. Manager Craig Counsell noted pregame that Hoerner was still experiencing discomfort while going through drills on Thursday.

Swanson (right knee sprain) did some light running and agility work and played catch on Wednesday in Atlanta. He continued to ramp up his activity on Thursday at Wrigley Field, including fielding ground balls, and took live batting practice against Drew Smyly and Jordan Wicks on Friday. More >

DJ LeMahieu, Gerrit Cole and Jasson Domínguez, Yankees

LeMahieu (non-displaced fracture of right foot) began a rehab assignment with Double-A Somerset on Friday, and he might be ready to return to the Yankees' lineup during their nine-game West Coast road trip from May 24-June 2 against the Padres, Angels and Giants, according to manager Aaron Boone.

Cole (right elbow discomfort) threw about 36 pitches on Tuesday at the Yankees' Tampa complex.

Domínguez (right UCL tear) began a Minor League rehab assignment with Single-A Tampa on Tuesday. He is expected to exclusively DH for the first two weeks. More >

Garrett Whitlock and Triston Casas, Red Sox

Whitlock (left oblique strain) experienced elbow soreness on Thursday after pitching 4 2/3 innings in a rehab start with Triple-A Worcester on Wednesday. He will remain in Boston this weekend and will undergo tests on Monday, manager Alex Cora said. More >

Casas (torn cartilage, left ribcage) is confident he will be activated on June 21, the first day he's eligible to return from the 60-day IL. More >

Taijuan Walker and Trea Turner, Phillies

Walker (left big toe contusion) was feeling better Friday but was still sore after being struck by a line drive during the fourth inning Thursday night against the Mets. Manager Rob Thomson said the club hopes to have a better idea within the next day or two as to whether Walker will be ready for his next start. More >

Turner (left hamstring strain) has resumed taking ground balls and doing some light running drills on the field. He's also been playing catch and going through his usual batting cage routine, including taking swings. There is still no firm timetable for his return to the lineup, although the day after he was injured (May 4), Turner said he expected to miss about six weeks. More >

Steven Kwan and Gavin Williams, Guardians

Kwan (left hamstring strain) took batting practice on the field before Friday's game against the Twins.

Williams (right elbow discomfort) said he didn't feel any lingering effects on Wednesday from his first bullpen session since his anti-inflammatory injection. The righty said he threw 50 pitches and was scheduled to throw his next bullpen on Friday. More >

Byron Buxton, Twins

Buxton (right knee inflammation) is expected to return to be activated Saturday while the Twins are in Cleveland. More >

Austin Riley and Sean Murphy, Braves

An MRI on Riley's tight left side, which began bothering him during batting practice on Sunday, revealed only inflammation in the area. Riley was out of the starting lineup again for Friday's series opener against the Padres, but he and the club are hopeful he can avoid the injured list.

Murphy (left oblique strain) is scheduled to begin a Minor League rehab assignment during the week of May 20. More >

Brandon Nimmo, Tylor Megill and Brooks Raley, Mets

Nimmo, who was scratched from the Mets' lineup pregame Thursday due to a stomach ailment, remained out of the lineup for Friday's series opener in Miami.

Megill (right shoulder strain) is expected to return to the rotation Monday in Cleveland.

Raley was diagnosed with a strain of the ulnar collateral ligament in his left (throwing) elbow. He will rest for two weeks and restart a throwing program after that. If all goes well, he could conceivably return to the bullpen for the Mets this season. Otherwise, he may have to undergo Tommy John surgery. More >

Brandon Lowe, Ryan Pepiot and Jeffrey Springs, Rays

Lowe (right oblique strain) -- who was scheduled to continue his rehab assignment with Triple-A Durham on Saturday -- could be activated during the Rays' next homestand, which starts Monday.

Pepiot (lower left leg contusion) simulated three innings in a bullpen session at Rogers Centre ahead of Friday's series opener against the Blue Jays. He is eligible to return from the IL on Tuesday and may slide back into the rotation for the Rays' home series against the Red Sox.

Springs (Tommy John surgery) threw a two-inning live batting practice session Wednesday and will next pitch in a Rookie-level Florida Complex League game on Monday. More >

Musgrove (right elbow inflammation) plans to be activated Sunday to start against the Braves in Atlanta. More >

J.P. Crawford and Jorge Polanco, Mariners

Crawford (right oblique strain) was hit on the right hand during a rehab game with Triple-A Tacoma on Wednesday. Crawford stayed back in Seattle to receive treatment and did not join the team in Baltimore for Friday's series opener against the Orioles as initially planned. Despite the setback, the prognosis is better than what the Mariners initially feared, as Crawford appears to not have sustained a significant follow-up injury.

Polanco (right hamstring tightness) was out of the lineup Friday for the third straight day, and the Mariners are considering a possible IL stint if he's not ready by the end of this weekend's series. More >

Yariel Rodríguez, Blue Jays

Rodríguez (thoracic spine inflammation) is scheduled to make a rehab start Tuesday for Triple-A Buffalo and will likely need one or two more following that. More >

Luis Rengifo, Angels

Rengifo (viral infection) was activated from the IL on Thursday and was back in the Angels' lineup Friday in Texas. More >

Kris Bryant and Elias Díaz, Rockies

Bryant (low back strain) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday. As of now, per manager Bud Black, Bryant is expected to be with the Rockies for their weekend series against the Giants in San Francisco.

Díaz left Tuesday's game against the Padres in the third inning due to left hand soreness and was not in the lineup Wednesday. Black said postgame Tuesday that Díaz has dealt with similar issues before but that the team does not expect a long absence. More >

Evan Carter and Dane Dunning, Rangers

Carter will be back in the lineup this week after an MRI on Monday revealed no major damage to his lower back.
