As part of the World Series Legacy Project, MLB and the Rays partnered with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay, contributing $50,000 to support local youth and provide educational resources that promote academic success.

Each year, Major League Baseball and Boys & Girls Clubs of America work together to create unique opportunities.
They work hand-in-hand to fulfill the mission of the 5,200+ Boys & Girls Clubs that serve more than 3.3 million youth in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and on U.S. military installations around the world, with the support of 408,000 Club staff, volunteers and board members doing whatever it takes to close the opportunity gap for them.
