Integrated Program

What it is: A short introduction to baseball or softball that gives kids the chance to try the game in a safe environment.

Who is it ideal for: Local governments that have the capacity to integrate the program into an already existing program, such as after school programs, Winter or March break camps that can easily integrate baseball/softball as one of the rotational activities.

Number of hours per kid: 5 hours minimum. (i.e.: 1 hour per week for 5 weeks)

Administrative requirements: Sign a partnership agreement (with two signing authorities), submit an end-of-program report.

Benefits: Receive a coach kit, and an equipment kit per location.

When: Programs can run in the summer (between June and August), or in the fall (September and October).

Stand-alone Program

What is it: A longer term opportunity for kids to play on a baseball/softball team focused on inclusion and belonging.

Who is it ideal for: Local governments that have the capacity to run a stand-alone program with a minimum of 8 hours of programming over several weeks for a consistent group of kids.

Number of hours per kid: 8 hours minimum. (i.e.: 2 hours per week for 4 weeks)

Administrative requirements: Sign a partnership agreement (with two signing authorities), submit a mid-point program report.

Benefits: Receive a coach kit, an equipment kit, and hats for your athletes per location.

When: Programs can run in the summer (between June and August), or in the fall (September and October).
