SAN DIEGO – The San Diego Padres today announced that their special events team, Petco Park Events, has signed on a new event space, Eve, in partnership with developer IQHQ. Eve is located on the top level of the Edge building in IQHQ’s Research and Development District (RaDD), a world-class office, lab and retail development spanning 1.7 million square feet, on San Diego’s downtown waterfront. Petco Park Events has become the exclusive event booking and management company for Eve, the third addition to their venue portfolio alongside Petco Park and The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park.

Slated to open this May, Eve is highlighted by 270-degree stunning panoramic views of the San Diego Bay with indoor and outdoor waterfront space allowing for multiple layouts, providing clients the opportunity to completely customize their event experience. With an impressive 19-foot-high ceiling and 7,800 square feet of indoor meeting room space, Eve features a flexible and expansive primary event room that accommodates up to 570 guests in a seated capacity and up to 1,126 standing guests. The room is equipped with an operable glass wall that opens to the terrace, large format LED screens, integrated audiovisual systems, and a motorized acoustic operable wall that enables versatility for the room to be demisable four ways.

In addition to the primary event room, Eve has two reservable Salon rooms perfect for private meeting rooms or 10–12-person break-out sessions, along with a furnished pre-function terrace that overlooks the San Diego Bay and accommodates up to 547 guests. A green room is available at the back of Eve to accommodate extra staging needs.

Eve will provide in-house catering services complete with a full-service warming kitchen. The venue has an arrival zone perfectly prepped for a pop-up bar, with beverages being managed by Snake Oil Cocktail Company, an award-winning beverage catering and mixology company headquartered in San Diego. Snake Oil Cocktail mixologists will offer the same immersive, full-service beverage experiences for special events at Eve that they are known for at premier events, bars and restaurants nationwide.
