SAN DIEGO – The San Diego Padres have finalized their 26-man roster for the 2024 Opening Series at Petco Park, President of Baseball Operations & General Manager A.J. Preller announced today.

Right-handed pitchers Pedro Avila, Dylan Cease and Matt Waldron have been added to the 26-man roster after being designated as Seoul Series Extras last week.

The club has optioned right-handed pitchers Jeremiah Estrada and Randy Vásquez, and left-handed pitcher Adrian Morejon to Triple-A El Paso**.**

The Padres currently have 39 players on their 40-man roster.

The home opener roster features 10 right-handed pitchers, three left-handers, two catchers, seven infielders and four outfielders.
