The center of Washington, D.C.'s baseball universe isn't hard to find. Locate the gleaming dome of the U.S. Capitol rising above the skyline and head due south. Near the riverfront and the famed Navy Yard, Nationals Park stands at the ready.
Opened in 2008, the park is one of the city's newest landmarks, but has already played host to its fair share of postseason fireworks.
Of course, regardless of how the pennant race is going, five famed American leaders sprint for glory during every game. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt and William Howard Taft make up the field, and Teddy's protracted quest for a victory became a national phenomenon.
- Right-field terrace: A wide open space with wide open views of the game, this terrace can be anything you want it to be - from private dance floor to picnic area.
