Aroldis Chapman hit Jackie Bradley Jr. with 2018's fastest pitch

Ever wondered what it was like to be one of those carnival acts who had cannons shot into them? No? That's weird. Hopefully Jackie Bradley Jr. did because he got to live that dream and/or nightmare against the Yankees in Boston's 3-2 loss on Tuesday night.
With two outs in the ninth inning and Aroldis Chapman on the hill, Bradley stepped in. He likely now wishes he hadn't because Chapman unleashed the fastest pitch thrown this year -- clocked at 103.3 mph -- straight into his arm.

The toss topped Jordan Hicks' 102.4 mph throw for the fastest this year and is the hardest-thrown ball since Chapman reached 104.2 mph in on Sept. 1 last season. That one was, amazingly, fouled off by Dustin Pedroia.
