Celebrate National Different-Colored Eyes Day and the All-Star Game with Max Scherzer

Tuesday is National Different-Colored Eyes Day, as good a time as any to celebrate the individuals with heterochromia in your life. Tuesday is also the All-Star Game presented by MasterCard, a time to celebrate MLB's 2016 All-Stars. That means it's definitely a time to celebrate Max Scherzer, the only heterochromiac pitcher in tonight's All-Star Game.

Scherzer's eyes, as you can see in the photo above, are two different colors -- his left iris, brown; his right iris, blue. They help him do things like strikeout 20 batters in a single game:

So cheers to Scherzer on Tuesday, and don't forget to watch him in the All-Star Game, 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT on FOX.
