Like roughly 90 percent of the dudes out there, the Orix Buffaloes will be wearing plaid next year

You can't escape it, you can't run from it and you certainly can't hide from it. You can only hope to last long enough to send a note to your loved ones about the person you once were. 
No, I'm not talking about a zombie outbreak, I'm talking about plaid. The favored look for seemingly every man, woman and child out there has now made its way into baseball jerseys as next season will see the Orix Buffalos donning these bad boys: 

While you may not necessarily be a fan of the look, you have to at least enjoy the experimentation. After all, this could just be the beginning. Soon we could have argyle jerseys and those small checker print jerseys that would look just as good in the boardroom as at the ballpark. 
As for the Buffaloes, they'll be hoping the jerseys will help them bounce back from a disappointing 61-80 season last year. After all, there's got to be some kind of transformative property of plaid if so many people wear it, right?
