For as long as anyone associated with the Reds can remember, David Letterman has been a fan of the team.
He's been coming to watch the Reds since they played at Crosley Field and made a surprise appearance on Sunday at Great American Ball Park as the Reds hosted the Cardinals. He spoke to Fox Sports Ohio's Jim Day about his time being a fan and how great the atmosphere was.
"We are enjoying ourselves and the hospitality has been 'Major League,'" he said.
The "King of Late Night Television," now sporting an impressive beard, "shooed away" Day using his iconic "bye bye now" phrase. A "badge of honor" as he described it.

You never know who you're going to run into at the ballpark.
