One Red Sox fan voted David Price for county district attorney

David Price cemented his place in the hearts of Red Sox fans forever with a sterling postseason performance that saw him capture three of Boston's last five wins of 2018 en route to the World Series title. Steve Pearce narrowly edged him for MVP of the Fall Classic, but one Red Sox fan decided to cast a vote for Price anyway -- that is, a vote for county district attorney.
Yes, really:

We shouldn't be so surprised. After all, it was just five years ago that after David Ortiz guided the Red Sox to a championship, he earned more write-in votes than anyone else in the 2013 Boston mayoral election.
While we can't attest to much of Price's résumé for district attorney, we do know that he's finally settled the case of whether or not he's a dangerous foe in the postseason.

The defense rests.
