Evan Longoria used Backstreet Boys lyrics to teach David Price about emojis
Apparently, Red Sox pitcher David Price doesn't frequently engage in internet hot takes. While this is undoubtedly good for his blood pressure, it's not great for his emoji knowledge. For years, the flame emoji has been used to accentuate text messages and Twitter hot takes, but Price first stumbled across it yesterday:
Price's former teammate and current division rival, Rays third baseman Evan Longoria, was quick to find the perfect way to use Price's newest discovery:
If there's an anthem of the 2016 Major League Baseball season, it just might be the Backstreet Boys' "I Want it that Way." First, Astros second baseman Jose Altuvedazzled with his rendition of the tune. Then, the Mets' Wilmer Floresembraced his love of BSB. With Longoria now jumping into the mix, there's a definite trend here, but I cannot tell you why.
