You love baseball, but do you love baseball as much as a bird? No, that's not some weird forgotten aphorism or zen koan -- it's a real question. On Tuesday, a bird risked getting hit by a bunt just so it could get close to Paul Goldschmidt.
And during the first inning of Friday's Rockies-Cubs game, a pair of ducks descended onto the field during Kris Bryant's at-bat:

The next time someone tells you that their seats for the game offer a bird's-eye view, assume they'll literally be on the field, getting chased away by a middle infielder.
