After Dexter Fowler's 'I will get a hit' tweet worked, other players began to pick up the trend

When Dexter Fowler recorded his first hit of the season on Monday, it had everything to do with Twitter. Well, maybe not everything to do with it, but he did post a tweet reaffirming, over and over, that a hit would come in the morning prior to the Cardinals-Brewers game, and wouldn't you know it -- he got a hit. It didn't take long for other players to test his theory.
Before the Cards' 8-4 win in Milwaukee, Fowler had gone 0-for-13, so this simple tweet seemed to provide some good luck:

So, if you're watching Jose Ramirez and Josh Reddick later and they're able to get a hit, go ahead and take their lead.
Maybe wish for no more snow during baseball season? Fewer calories in the Nutella Egg Roll? Whatever it is, use your tweet wisely.
UPDATE: Reddick tallied his first hit of the year on Tuesday against the Orioles.
