The Padres took down the Cubs, 10-6, on Sunday, earning a split of the four-game series at Wrigley Field. Putting double digits on the scoreboard against the Cubs is no small feat, but the Padres seemed to make it look easy -- no more so than when Franmil Reyes connected on a Jon Lester offering in the top of the fourth inning.
Lester was behind in the count, 3-0, and tried to just get a pitch over for a strike. It was 90 mph down the heart of the plate, and Reyes couldn't resist. He demolished it:

Reyes' long ball went so far that it went over the batter's eye in center field. The damage was estimated at 477 feet -- the longest by any Wrigley Field visitor since Statcast began recording data in 2015.
In fact, of all players, only Kris Bryant has hit a longer homer at Wrigley than Reyes in that timeframe, which he recorded via a 495-foot blast on Sept. 6, 2015:

Kyle Schwarber also tested the limits of the batter's eye earlier this season on an impressive dinger to center on June 29:

Schwarber's homer might have looked gaudy, but it "only" went 422 feet, per Statcast.
So among center-field shots, Franmil reigns supreme. Time for a celebratory dance:
