George Springer predicted he'd brick the 'First Shot' at the Rockets game and, well, he did

George Springer continued the Astros' victory tour with a stop by the Cavs-Rockets game on Thursday night. The World Series MVP had a special message for his Houston brethren pregame:


And then, he had to prepare for the "First Shot" from the free-throw line. Springer was not as confident in his basketball abilities as he is in his baseball skills -- saying he was probably going to "brick it" and just hoped "it goes forward."


Good news: It did go forward. Bad news: It was indeed a brick.
Luckily, Springer has that whole being really good at baseball thing going for him.
