After clinching the Wild Card, Gerardo Parra dyed his hair purple for the final game of the season

Looks like we may have a new contender for Hair of the Postseason. After the Rockies clinched the NL Wild Card Saturday night, outfielder Gerardo Parra knew there was only one way to celebrate: Turn the hair purple. 
Sure enough, before the Rockies' final regular-season game against the Dodgers, Parra made sure to stop at a hair salon so he could show off his Rocktober-fitting locks. 

That's the kind of hair display fit for a shampoo commercial. 
Turns out, Parra woke up around six in the morning to be able to get it done in time. He told MLB.com's Thomas Harding the story behind the purple hair:
