German Marquez started jogging to first after only ball three

"Don't think. You can only hurt the ballclub" is not just one of the best quotes from "Bull Durham," but usually a good tip on the ballfield. Unfortunately, that means things like this happen: During the Rockies' 2-1 victory over the D-backs on Saturday night, German Marquez thought he drew a walk. For a pitcher, that's quite the achievement!
Unfortunately for the hurler, he was too focused at the plate to realize that he started his trot to first after only three balls. Which meant it was time for the loneliest trip back to the plate:

Fortunately for Marquez, though, he didn't just draw a walk -- he laced a single on the eighth pitch of the at-bat. Which is even more fun.
