Giancarlo Stanton blasted a homer off the scoreboard and John Sterling gave it a fittingly 'Stantonian' call

One of the fun questions surrounding the Yankees this season concerns announcer John Sterling, and how he'll come up with creative home run calls for the team's many sluggers.
On Saturday, New York won a split-squad game over the Blue Jays, 13-6, at George M. Steinbrenner Field. In the fifth, Giancarlo Stanton connected on a pitch and crushed it deep to left field -- it was high, it was far, it was very much gone -- banging off the scoreboard and allowing Sterling to practice his home run call for the regular season.
"Giancarlo getting a Stanton ovation" is pretty good, we have to say:

A truly Stantonian blast by the Yankees' new slugger, who seems pretty much ready for his debut on Opening Day.
