From 2004

to 2016,

David Ortiz has wreaked havoc on the Yankees and their fans. The Red Sox DH has an absurd 53 homers, 171 RBIs and a .303/.394/.568 slash line in 243 regular-season games against his AL East rivals. He's probably been booed more in the Bronx than anybody, anywhere. But during his final game at Yankee Stadium on Thursday night, after years of heartbreaking dingers, he received a standing ovation:

Where's the loyalty, GUYS?
In all seriousness, it's hard not to acknowledge a man who's having the greatest final season in MLB history. Ortiz was also presented with a painting of himself, doffing his cap at the Stadium.
