Joe Maddon is adding to his restaurant mini-empire with an eatery adjacent to Wrigley Field

Joe Maddon has a certain, unmistakable style, one exemplified by cross-country RV journeys, delightfully silly costumed road trips with his players, postseason pizza parties with Mom and much more. He also loves his wine.

The Cubs manager's extracurricular exploits have filled many a blog pages -- and they have once again now that he's apparently opening a new eatery right around Wrigley Field.
As the Chicago Tribune reported on Thursday, Maddon and chef Tony Mantuano have joined forces on a new culinary project that will open at The Park at Wrigley, just outside the stadium grounds.
This won't be Maddon's first foray into food, as he already has an Italian restaurant in Tampa, Fla., stemming from his time with the Rays, yet we can't help but be curious what this new dining spot might offer Cubs fans this summer.
More details are expected in the coming weeks, so stay tuned ...
