Jose Lobaton and the plate umpire simultaneously threw a ball to Jeurys Familia, and it went as expected

Jeurys Familia was given two chances to catch a ball, and he missed them both. There was a bit more to the story than that, however.
In the bottom of the eighth during Saturday night's Mets-Padres game, Familia threw a 95 mph fastball to Manuel Margot. The pitch had so much movement, catcher Jose Lobaton couldn't grab it and it bounced off his glove. As Lobaton went to reach for it and throw it back, he wasn't aware that home-plate umpire, Marty Foster, had the exact same idea. And, well:

It appeared Familia thought about choosing one ball to catch, but then was overwhelmed and he decided "nope."
That's OK, Familia laughed it off and the broadcast had fun watching it as well. And we respect Foster for wanting to be a part of the reaction.
