After scrambling for a foul ball, this Marlins fan gave it to a young girl and got a big hug

The single most important rule of foul ball etiquette, even beyond "never let an obstacle stand in your way" and "anything and everything can be a glove if you try hard enough," is a simple one: Always give up your souvenir to a younger fan.
But, during the Astros' 3-0 win over the Marlins in Miami on Wednesday, it seemed as though that rule might be in jeopardy.
Evan Gattis fouled a ball off onto a walkway between sections down the third-base line. Almost immediately, two fans -- a young girl and an adult man -- made a break for it. The man got there first, snatched up the ball and appeared to be triumphantly walking back to his seat ... until he realized what he'd done:

The evidence is clear: Follow the Golden Rule, and you'll be rewarded with hugs.
