Phil Hughes is such a big Lightning fan that he has a goal lamp that goes off every time they score

Few baseball players are more vocal about hockey than Twins pitcher Phil Hughes. An avid fan of the Tampa Bay Lightning, Hughes is so devoted to the sport that he was tweeting about the Lightning a mere two hours after proposing to his future wife, Sarah.
The two years since then have not changed his puckhead ways. Last December, he wore a Lightning sweater in his Christmas photo:

However, Hughes' garments are nothing compared to his customized goal lamp.
Yes, you read that right. Hughes has a goal lamp that is specially synchronized to go off every time the Lightning score a goal, whether Hughes is watching or not:

As Hughes mentioned in a recent article from the Tampa Bay Times, his wife is doing her best to humor him. "She's not a big fan of the obnoxious horn going off all the time," Hughes said, "and it's not helping that they're one of the highest-scoring teams in the league."
Kudos to Phil Hughes for his impressive fandom, but even more kudos to Sarah Hughes for her patience. Hopefully, the Lightning goal horn doesn't go off too frequently late in the night.
