Noah Syndergaard tricked us all into thinking he was getting a haircut
Back in October, during a pregame World Series press conference, Jacob deGrom let it slip that he was planning on cutting his hair at the end of the season. However, due to a universal outcry and probably intervention by the UN or something, he ultimately decided to keep his flowing locks. We all let out a relieved sigh …
… but that's only because we didn't know deGrom was distracting us from the real haircut to come: Noah Syndergaard's. On Wednesday, the other half of last year's most popular Mets-themed Halloween costume posted this photo on Instagram:
Dear Noah's barber: It's interesting that you're smiling while the rest of us are crying inside.
However, as of late afternoon, there were no "after" photos. That means we can look on the bright side -- he might just be getting a really dramatic trim.
