The Rangers will officially honor Adrián Beltré for joining the 3,000-hit club on Sept. 8 against the Yankees, including several tributes and a special Beltre 3K cap. But the real Beltre celebration takes place the following night: The first 15,000 fans in attendance on Sept. 9 will receive a miniature on-deck circle mousepad, an homage to one of the most hilarious ejections baseball has ever seen.
You may recall that, back on July 27, Beltre was asked by second-base umpire Gerry Davis to take his warmup swings from the designated on-deck circle. Rather than moving himself, however, he decided to bring the on-deck circle to him:

Beltre was ejected on the spot, but his sense of ingenuity will live on for generations to come -- and now, thanks to the Rangers, you too can own a small piece of history.
