With great hair, the ability to play multiple positions and a penchant for coming up with insane defensive plays, Brock Holt has become a bit of a cult hero in Boston. Unfortunately, he doesn't match up with a Hall of Famer that hit .338 with over 2,000 hits in a Red Sox uniform. So, at the Red Sox Winter Weekend, Holt was called on to give up his jersey to the legendary third baseman, Wade Boggs.

It's a fitting tribute for Boggs, who won five batting titles in a Red Sox uniform. In case you were wondering, Ted Williams won six -- so not bad company.

Oddly enough, Boggs already had his No. 12 retired by the Rays, the team where he reached the 3,000-hit mark. In a stunning moment of synchronicty, it's also the number that Holt will be swapping to next year. Spooky.
