Each October, the MLB postseason belongs to someone or something. Whether it's the Rally Monkey in 2002, Daniel Murphy in 2015 or David Ross last year, October is always dominated by a particular force. With so much good baseball packed into one month, it's sometimes tough to follow all the madness, so we created the Baseball October Arbitrary Rankings Device (The B.O.A.R.D.) to keep track of it all.
Oh man, what a wild weekend of baseball. We're not sure how you spent your weekend, but we were glued to our television sets watching all the games, only getting up for food, water and the occasional shower.
With so much going on, the B.O.A.R.D. was in need of an update. Between Bryce's electrifying dinger, Puig puiging everywhere and Tanaka's dominant Game 3 start, there was a lot to sift through. But despite all the excitement, a familiar face remained in the top spot.
