The story of how a Little League card ended up in Adam Jones' locker proves that destiny is real

If you played Little League, you likely had your favorite Major Leaguer's card. But, you never dreamed your favorite player would have your card. It was a relationship doomed to be one-sided.
Not so for Emma Short.
She listed Orioles centerfielder Adam Jones as her favorite player and, after a few chance encounters, her card found its way into Jones' possession.

Prior to Sunday's game against the Blue Jays, Emma's father handed the card to reliever Richard Bleier with little hope that it would make its way to her hero.

Shockingly, Bleier did deliver the card to Jones.

Undoubtedly, this gesture will cement Jones' place as Emma's favorite player for some time. For Jones, he may have found a new favorite player of his own.
