David Ortiz brings joy to fans in many ways. His epic tattoos, his massive home runs and his spontaneous shoulder rubs make everyone happy. But he made one specific fan's day, and probably whole life, when he gave him his bat in the eighth inning of Friday's Rays-Red Sox game:
Ortiz may have grounded out just before his act of generosity, but he hit a home run in the fourth, contributing mightily to a 6-5 Sox victory.
