Donovan Solano, who is not a character from an Elena Ferrante novel but one of the Yankees' September callups, got his first hit as a member of the Bronx Bombers during their 5-4 loss to the Red Sox on Sunday.
Solano, who played for the Marlins from 2012-15, is no stranger to big league hits. But this one, we assume, was only possible because of his Eleven-esque telekinetic powers. It rolled along the third-base line and stopped just fair.
