As Tony Romo rides into retirement, watch his 2012 first pitch with the Rangers

Tony Romo reportedly retired on Tuesday, ending a career that saw the Cowboys quarterback throw 248 touchdowns and for over 34,000 yards -- both Cowboys records.
Because Romo was a football star in Texas, he naturally got a chance to throw out the first pitch back in 2012. Sadly, he didn't fade back and fire it in like it was the fourth quarter and the team needed a score. But it was still a good first pitch.
Afterward, he told Fox Sports that if he were a baseball player, he'd "like to be a shortstop." If you were hoping for a comeback on the diamond -- I hate to burst your dreams -- he then added, "I played that when I was younger. I wasn't very good, but it'd be enjoyable."
Of course, if you want to know Romo's greatest impact on baseball, just watch as Joe Nathan decided to emerge from the clubhouse in full Tony Romo cosplay:
