William Shatner wasn't happy about his first pitch, so he grabbed another ball and fired a strike

William Shatner was at Fenway Park on Friday for Comic Con Night. Fans received special Captain Kirk figurines and before the Red Sox beat the D-backs, 9-4, James T. Kirk himself threw out the ceremonial first pitch. Well, he tried at least:

This kind of effort would not stand with the good Captain.

So, instead of shaking hands and getting on with the proceedings, the 85-year-old Shatner grabbed the ball again and fired a strike down the plate:  

A job well done. If only we could give second chances to some other subpar first pitches ...
