With his induction into the Reds Hall of Fame, watch Adam Dunn hit a homer into another state

Adam Dunn was inducted into the Reds Hall of Fame on Wednesday -- joining

 
 who celebrated his 37th birthday on Wednesday, is a strong man. He hit 462 home runs in 14 seasons -- averaging 33 per year and crushing 40 or more during six campaigns. He was 6-foot-6, 285 pounds during his playing days. He's basically a giant, dinger-crushing machine.

And on Aug. 10, 2004, while playing for the Reds, Dunn showed off maybe the pinnacle of his powers -- destroying a home run out of Great American Ball Park and, techinically, out of the state of Ohio:

The ball cleared the 32-foot batter's eye, bounced off Mehring Way (a road that runs behind the stadium) and bounded another 200 feet onto a piece of driftwood in the Ohio River. That part of the river is considered part of Kentucky.
So remember, the next time a broadcaster hyperbolizes "Man, he hit that one into another state," Adam Dunn once literally did that.
